About the Lecture
Coverage of China by foreign media and Chinese media can differ markedly. But the reasons for this may be unclear even to those in the media industry. Meanwhile, technology is exacerbating some of these differences. Andy Mok will review the root causes of these differences and explore how the media landscape is being reshaped by technology.
About the Speaker
Andy Mok is an investor and founder of Red Pagoda Resources, which provides professional services to startups in China. Previously, he worked at Morningside Ventures and the RAND Corp. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in China Studies from The Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies.
